While exploring our chives garden, the toddlers made an exciting discovery, a tiny caterpillar! The children gathered around with curiosity and wonder as they carefully observed it moving through the leaves.
Together, we talked about what caterpillars need to grow and stay safe. The children decided to create a small habitat for their new garden friend. They thoughtfully collected leaves, chives, and other natural materials, making a cozy space where the caterpillar could eat, rest, and grow.
