Our School Age 3 friends have been having a busy and fun start to the school year! We spent time indoors drawing, colouring, reading, building, playing games, and making paper dolls. The children enjoyed being creative and using their ideas, especially while building card towers without glue or tape, and seeing how high they could make them. There was lots of imagination, sharing, and laughter along the way. We also introduced our new School Age 3 friends to journal writing, giving them a chance to draw, write, and share their own thoughts and ideas.
Outside, we had just as much fun! The children explored the grass, caught and watched grasshoppers, chased dandelion fluff, played with hula hoops, ran around, and enjoyed different playground activities. They also showed great physical development as they ran, jumped, balanced, and played active games. Through all these activities, the children were also building social development by making new friends, helping one another, and learning to play together.
We were also happy to welcome our new and returning friends to School Age 3. The children did a great job making new friends feel welcome and helping everyone feel comfortable. It has been a wonderful start filled with creativity, friendship, movement, and lots of happy moments. We can’t wait to see what adventures come next!
